Putin: Lukashenka Has No Panic Over Zelensky's Outcries

In an interview with propagandist Pavel Zarubin, Russian President Vladimir Putin recalled a few words about Lukashenka, whom he met at his Valdai residence on Friday and Saturday.

According to Putin, Lukashenka is ready to fully support the resolution of the conflict in Ukraine by peaceful means, and Russia is grateful to him for his efforts in the Ukrainian settlement and, in particular, for assistance in the exchange of prisoners:

"As we remember, negotiations once began in Minsk in 2022. Then, at the suggestion of the Ukrainian side, we moved to Istanbul. But agreements on settling relations between Kyiv and Donetsk [in 2015] were concluded in Minsk."

Putin also spoke, choosing quite strange words, about Lukashenka's behavior in light of the ultimatum recently issued to him by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, whose demand to turn off Russian broadcasters on the Belarusian-Ukrainian border was, it seems, fulfilled.

According to Putin, Zelensky's outcries do not cause panic in Lukashenka. He, apparently, approaches this very calmly, balanced, and thoughtfully.
