The exhibition "For Our and Your Freedom" is taking place at the National Museum of the History of Ukraine in the Second World War.

On September 19, an exhibition "For Our and Your Freedom" opened in Kyiv at the National Museum of the History of Ukraine in the Second World War. It introduces Belarusian national symbols, military uniforms, and awards of the Belarusian liberation movement.
The opening took place on the Day of the Belarusian National Flag and Coat of Arms, exactly 35 years after the historic decisions of the Supreme Council, reports the "Volya" movement on its Facebook page.
The exhibition guides visitors through various epochs of Belarusian history: from the Polotsk Principality and the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, through the Belarusian People's Republic, the Slutsk Uprising and Belarusian military formations of the 20th century, to the modern struggle for a free Belarus.
The exhibition presents historical and modern flags, designs for state symbols, a national awards system, a project for a free Belarus passport, as well as symbols and uniforms of the future Belarusian army. Exhibition stands are complemented by monitors with informational materials. A lecture on the history of Belarusian national symbols took place in the museum's assembly hall.
At the opening, the chairman of the Heraldic Council "Pahonia" and Belarusian volunteer Mikita Zabuga, as well as a member of this council Ales Chaichyts, spoke. Ukrainian participants thanked Belarusian volunteers who are defending Ukraine's independence. The memory of fallen Belarusian warriors was honored with a minute of silence.
Among the guests were soldiers of the "Volya" company, members of the "Volya" movement and the "Kalinoutsy" movement. Yaroslav Chornohor, Ambassador-at-Large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, responsible for relations with Belarusian democratic forces, also visited the exhibition.
