Former political prisoner Bandaruk, staunch critic of democratic forces: I hate the Belarusian language
"I no longer walk the same path as Belarusians. Glory to great Poland! If only we could return the borders to 1939, damn it," says Vital Bandaruk.

A strange video featuring former political prisoner Vital Bandaruk, who tried his hand as a blogger "Politzek Vitsyok," is being circulated on propaganda channels. In the emotional video, he does not hold back:
"I hate the Belarusian language, I hate it. As long as these f**king monsters, b**ch, are speaking this language, I will not speak it. Ugh, b**ch, f**king Belarusian language, screw it! Glory to great Poland! If only we could return the borders to 1939, damn it."
Bandaruk himself told "Nashaya Niva" that the video is authentic and reflects his current views. On Facebook, Vital writes posts with similar sentiments, and his YouTube page features a huge Polish flag.
Recently, the man explained in a post that such thoughts appeared to him due to his prison experience:
"Although I was born in Brest and am theoretically Belarusian, after spending four and a half years imprisoned by the Lukashenka regime, I fully understood who Belarusians are. And I no longer walk the same path as them.
These are people who do not know what freedom is and how to be a free nation. Poles are great: they are a nation that loves freedom, and I only walk the path with them."

51-year-old Vital Bandaruk is a blogger from Brest. At one point, he bought a house in a village in the Kamenets district and moved there to live. Videos from the village did not gain much popularity, with about 1000 subscribers. But after initial internet success, a conflict arose with local authorities.
In 2021, Bandaruk was sentenced to five years in prison. He was accused under five articles: inciting hatred, slandering Lukashenka, insulting him, desecrating state symbols, and insulting a government official.
On September 11, 2025, three months before the end of his term, Bandaruk was taken to Lithuania.
Once free, the former political prisoner joined the critics of democratic forces. Bandaruk participated several times in streams by blogger Siarhei Piatrukhin.
In one of them, Bandaruk expressed indignation that released political prisoners were accommodated in some hostels, while hotel rooms were allegedly offered only to those close to the opposition leadership. He did this while sitting in the hotel room he was provided in Vilnius.
Over time, Vital moved to Wrocław. He recorded a video where he said that Piatrukhin helped him with housing and food. As of July 2026, Bandaruk and Piatrukhin were renting an apartment together.
