Zelenskyy would agree not to strike Russian energy facilities in exchange for expanding Starlink coverage deeper into Russia
Starlink coverage is proposed to be extended by approximately 300 kilometers.

During a visit to Kyiv, American senators proposed that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy "pause" strikes on Russian energy facilities in exchange for expanding the coverage area of the Starlink satellite system. The Wall Street Journal writes about this, citing sources.
Starlink coverage is proposed to be extended by approximately 300 kilometers deeper into Russian territory. Senators Roger Wicker of Mississippi and Kevin Cramer of North Dakota reportedly made this proposal.
The WSJ writes that Zelenskyy stated his readiness to accept this proposal and stop strikes on energy facilities for one hundred days.
Earlier, in an interview with the Financial Times, Zelenskyy said he had offered Trump to expand Starlink coverage to Russian territory so that Ukraine could destroy Russian ballistic missile launchers.
"If you don't shut down Starlink for us, if you open Starlink in Russia, we will destroy its ballistic missile launchers, and that will be the end of it for [Putin]. He will sit down and talk, and I will not destroy any energy facilities. I don't need that," the Ukrainian president said.
