The new owner of the "Lesta" gaming studio, which publishes the "World of Tanks" and "World of Warships" projects in Russia, became the company JSC "Industrial Facilities".

We are talking about a consortium of private investors who intend to develop the gaming industry in Russia. RBC writes about this, citing Lesta's press service.
A month ago, Forbes reported that the company could be acquired by former Formula 1 driver and businessman Nikita Mazepin. Lesta has an office in Belarus. As a result, the Mazepin family could have become another connecting link between the gaming studio and Minsk: Nikita's father, Dmitry Mazepin, a billionaire, the main shareholder of Uralchem and former co-owner of Uralkali, was born in Belarus, writes Office Life.
However, the buyer eventually became JSC "Industrial Facilities", registered in Moscow two years ago. Information about the company's founders is hidden, but since October 15, financier Zakhar Kisly has become its CEO. According to documents, the company has one employee, and net losses for 2025 amounted to the authorized capital – 15 thousand Russian rubles.
Representatives of the new owner have already stated that they believe in the strategy and management team of "Lesta Games" company, supporting both current approaches to developing existing games and plans for launching new projects. Thus, the management team of "Lesta Games" studio and its development strategy will remain unchanged.
At the same time, the new owner plans to invest not only in the developments of "Lesta Games" company but also in external projects:
"In the next three years, we expect to invest up to 10 billion Russian rubles (120 million dollars) in the development of the gaming industry, including through the creation of a venture fund."
Recall that Deputy Minister of Finance of Russia Alexey Moiseev announced the sale of "Lesta" to an interested investor, which will cost a "very large sum".
Until 2022, the studio was a subsidiary of the Belarusian company Wargaming. After the latter's departure from the Russian market, the studio separated.
In early June 2025, the activities of the founders of the "Lesta" group of companies in Russia were recognized as extremist. Then, according to the decision of the Tagansky District Court of Moscow, the assets of the developers of "World of Tanks", "World of Warships" and Tanks Blitz were to be transferred to the state. As a result, since the summer of 2025, they have been owned by Rosimushchestvo (Federal Agency for State Property Management).
