A banner with the killed KGB officer Nirvana was hung on the BSU Lyceum building, and students were taken to his grave
Ihar Marzalyuk reads lectures about Dzerzhinsky to Belarus' future intellectual elite, and the Deputy Chairman of the KGB speaks at the solemn assembly.

In 2024, the BSU Lyceum was named after Felix Dzerzhinsky – the founder of the All-Russian Extraordinary Commission (Cheka), from which the KGB traces its history. Now, security officers help organize excursions for students, support a military-patriotic club, plant trees with schoolchildren, and arrange trips with gifts for teachers.
The 2026/2027 academic year began with a solemn assembly, where the Deputy Chairman of the KGB, Siarhei Hladyshaw, spoke.

Next were events for the birthday of Felix Dzerzhinsky.
On September 9, the exposition "Our Lyceum bears his name," dedicated to Dzerzhinsky, was opened. The red ribbon was cut by deputy Ihar Marzalyuk and the chairman of the Minsk organization of KGB veterans "Honor," Viktar Lisouski.
And Marzalyuk also gave a lecture to the students.

On September 11, 2026, students were sent to the Dzerzhinsky monument to lay flowers.

On the lyceum's website, the founder of the Soviet Cheka is called an "outstanding native of Belarusian land," and the event itself is referred to as a sign of deep respect and grateful memory.
The students were also taken to the Dzyarzhynava estate for an excursion.

A couple of weeks later, teachers were also taken there – as a gift for Teacher's Day.
Special services transferred a painting to the lyceum, and each employee received a gift. The administration of the educational institution did not hide their admiration for such care:
"From the bottom of our hearts, we thank the State Security Committee of the Republic of Belarus for the warm attitude towards our team, for the hospitable reception and an unforgettable gift for our professional holiday. Such moments remain in memory for a long time and warm the soul," the lyceum's website wrote.

On September 28, 2026, students and teachers were taken to the grave of Dzmitry Fiedasiuk – an officer of the KGB special unit "Alpha," who died five years ago in Minsk during a shootout in programmer Andrei Zeltser's apartment. The lyceum's website describes the official version of this story. Fiedasiuk is called a hero who took the fire upon himself, saving his comrades.

Lyceum students laid flowers at his grave, and the message concluded with the words: "We remember. We are proud. We will not forget."

And a huge banner "We remember the hero!" was hung on the Lyceum building itself.
