34-year-old prosecutor Dzianis Korda was appointed judge of the Leninski District Court of Grodno for five years. He supported the prosecution in a number of political cases and is under Polish sanctions.

Korda was appointed by Decree No. 355, signed by Alyaksandr Lukashenka on October 7. The Telegram channel "Prava mayut" ("They have the right") drew attention to the appointment.
Prior to this, Korda worked as a prosecutor in the Grodno Oblast Prosecutor's Office. He was the state prosecutor in the case of journalist and Union of Poles activist Andrei Pachobut. He also supported the prosecution in the cases of driver Siarhei Tsikhanouski, Aliaksandr Aranovich, and Aksana Liapko, who was later pardoned.
In 2023, Poland added Korda to its sanctions list as being involved in mass human rights violations in Belarus. In its justification, the Polish authorities called him a supporter of the Lukashenka regime and stated that his entry and stay in Poland pose a threat to state security.
Andrei Pachobut was sentenced to eight years in a reinforced-regime penal colony in February 2023. In April 2026, the journalist was released as part of a prisoner exchange between Belarus and Poland.
