International crypto exchange KuCoin announced the immediate discontinuation of services for users from Belarus and Russia. The company explained the decision by the requirements of legislation and regulators.

The restrictions apply to all products, services, and functions of the platform. However, the exchange stated its intention to organize an orderly termination of services so that users can close their positions and withdraw assets.
Users affected by the changes should receive messages with relevant instructions. If such a message has not arrived, KuCoin recommends refraining from any actions for now.
According to CoinMarketCap, KuCoin is among the top ten crypto exchanges globally by trading volume.
Earlier in October, several other major international crypto exchanges also announced the cessation of services for users from Belarus and Russia, including MEXC, Bitget and HTX.
