It's incredible, but a truckload of cucumbers was brought from Moscow to Olshany — the cucumber capital of Belarus. It was not allowed into the country
The truck was stopped at the border — there were problems with the documents.

The batch was intended for the wholesale market «Bradok» in the cucumber capital of Belarus. But, according to Rosselkhoznadzor, the phytosanitary certificate for the cargo turned out to be forged.
The truck, driven by a citizen of Belarus, was stopped on October 26 at the Russian-Belarusian border. Documents were checked by Rosselkhoznadzor inspectors and FSB border guards.
More than 18 tons of fresh cucumbers were being transported from Moscow to Olshany, Stolin district. After checking the certificate, the cargo was not allowed through.
The materials were handed over to law enforcement, who must decide whether there are grounds for a criminal case.
The unusual aspect of the story is the direction of the supply. Olshany is famous for its vegetables, and for years Russia has been one of the main markets for their sale.
«Bradok» is a wholesale market, where local farmers bring their harvest, and buyers come for large batches.
However, supplies in the opposite direction also occurred. According to people familiar with the business of Stolin farmers, some of them buy vegetables wholesale at Russian bases in autumn and winter to then resell them in Belarusian cities, notes «Belarusy i rynak».
