Two drunkards near Barysaŭ were selling cemetery fences for scrap metal
In the Barysaŭ district, two men stole decorative chains from cemetery fences and sold them for scrap metal.

The theft was reported by a 70-year-old man who, while visiting the cemetery, noticed that massive chains, which served as a fence, had disappeared from one of the graves. The police found the suspects — two friends aged 48 and 50.

As reported by the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee, the men used improvised tools to pry off the chain fasteners on the fences. They sold the stolen items for scrap metal and spent the money on alcohol. Now they will have to answer for the theft.
