A Ukrainian drone reached the northern industrial hub in Omsk, where an oil refinery is located. This was reported by Vitaly Khotsenko, the governor of Omsk Oblast, in his Telegram channel. The success of the strike was confirmed by the Ukrainian General Staff.

The Omsk governor reported a drone threat in the region at 10:58 Moscow time, and information that one of the drones reached the industrial zone appeared approximately five and a half hours later.
According to Vitaly Khotsenko, Russian air defense shot down most of the drones that attacked the region, but one of them still reached the northern industrial hub. Emergency services were working at the scene.
After the announcement of the drone threat, Omsk airport temporarily suspended the reception and dispatch of aircraft to ensure flight safety.
Residents of the Left Bank, Neftyanikov, and other city districts reported hearing between one and six explosions. One resident stated that they heard two explosions in 20 minutes, which even shook their house.
At 16:52 Moscow time, Khotsenko announced the cancellation of the drone threat regime. He urged residents not to create panic at gas stations and to remain calm.
The Omsk Oil Refinery is the most powerful oil processing enterprise in Russia. It is capable of processing over 21 million tons of oil per year. The plant produces a wide range of fuels, lubricants, and petrochemical products.
