Veronika Stankevich becomes Representative for Social Policy of the UCH
She heads the "Volnyja" (Free Ones) initiative, which takes care of deported political prisoners and helps them adapt to freedom.

Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya has appointed Veronika Stankevich as the Representative for Social Policy of the United Transitional Cabinet of Belarus. The decision was made based on the recommendation of the Coordination Council, in accordance with the procedure, the UCH press service reports.

"I sincerely congratulate Veronika Stankevich on her appointment. Her experience working with former political prisoners and understanding the needs of people who have gone through repression are very important for this position. Social policy is primarily about people, about supporting those who find themselves in difficult situations and need help. I am confident that Veronika's experience will help strengthen the Cabinet's work in this direction. I wish her success and fruitful work," Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya noted.
Based on the results of the CC's ranking vote, Veronika Stankevich was recommended for appointment. Her candidacy was nominated by the faction "Latushka's Coalition and the Movement 'For Freedom'".
Veronika Stankevich is the coordinator of the "Volnyja" (Free Ones) initiative, which helps former political prisoners adapt to life at liberty and receive necessary social, legal, and other support.
Previously, Yuliya Mitskevich served as the Cabinet's Representative for Social Policy, having taken the position after Olga Zazulinskaya was appointed head of the Mission of Belarusian Democratic Forces in Kyiv.
Currently, Yuliya Mitskevich has been appointed Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya's advisor on inclusivity and equality.
Stanislau Salavey has been appointed Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya's advisor on healthcare issues.
