Zelenskyy refused to stop strikes on Russian oil refineries while Russia attacks Ukrainian energy infrastructure
The President of Ukraine responded to Trump: stopping strikes must be mutual and backed by guarantees.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated on October 11 that Ukraine is ready to stop strikes on Russian oil refineries on condition that Moscow stops attacking its energy infrastructure.
"Ukraine will be ready to stop strikes on Russian oil refineries if Russia stops striking our energy infrastructure," he said.
According to Zelenskyy, any de-escalation steps must be mutual and have genuine guarantees.
He also stated that it is possible to stop strikes on energy infrastructure now, but Vladimir Putin does not want to.
Zelenskyy recalled the scale of Russian attacks: according to him, over the week, Russia used about 1450 aerial bombs, 75 missiles, and more than 1640 attack drones. On the morning of October 11, search and rescue operations were completed in Zaporizhzhia after a strike that killed 23 people, including four children.
Earlier, Trump said that Zelenskyy could do whatever he wanted with Russia, but the United States asked Ukraine not to attack Russian oil refineries, as this creates problems for the whole world.
The American president also accused Zelenskyy of being unwilling to reach agreements and stated that Ukraine needs a new leader capable of negotiating.
