Diana was chosen by 32% of respondents. Marilyn Monroe took second place with 22%, and Audrey Hepburn came in third with 16%. They are followed by Catherine, Princess of Wales, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Madonna, Grace Kelly, Jennifer Aniston, and Jennifer Lopez.
Marilyn Monroe's white dress from the film "The Seven Year Itch" was named the most famous outfit in history. 15% of respondents voted for it.

Princess Diana's famous black "revenge dress" scored 12%.

Among men, David Beckham was recognized as the main style icon — he was chosen by one in five survey participants. He was followed by Elvis Presley and David Bowie.
