«Friends and admirers of the gallery. A tragedy has occurred. Today, in the afternoon, our cat Chernushka, who was peacefully sleeping in a flowerbed in the sun, was mauled by a dog.
Someone's husky dog, running on the streets without an owner and a muzzle. It's hard for me to speak, so I'm writing here," Olga shared. "I want to appeal to all owners of such dogs — keep an eye on your pets! Today, someone's irresponsibility brought us great sorrow."
In 2025, the director told the press that two cats, Lavrik and Chernushka, lived in the gallery. She was described as a calm, wise cat who simply ate and slept, and sometimes, depending on her mood, guided people through the exhibition.
