In Motol, a fire alarm saved a large family

The fire occurred on September 25 around 3:31 in the agro-town of Motol, Ivanava district. When MES units arrived at the scene, the house was already engulfed in open flames, but all residents managed to get out into the yard.

The family was warned in time by an autonomous fire alarm. Its loud signal woke up the hostess of the house, her husband, and three children — a boy born in 2012 and two girls born in 2019.

The man and three children required medical attention. They were hospitalized with carbon monoxide poisoning.

Rescuers extinguished the fire. The causes of the fire are currently being investigated by specialists.
