From October, new rules regarding prices for some medicinal preparations will come into force in Belarus. The Ministry of Health has set maximum marginal selling prices for them.

According to the Ministry of Health's resolution of September 17, 2026, organizations will be able to independently determine the selling prices for these medicines, but they must not exceed the maximum values set by the state. The maximum prices themselves were determined earlier by another ministry resolution.
The restrictions will affect drugs from various groups: antiparasitic, dermatological, anti-infective, antitumor, and immunomodulatory agents, as well as medicines for treating diseases of the respiratory and digestive systems, metabolic disorders, diseases of the blood and hematopoietic organs, the nervous system, and sensory organs.
The list includes preparations from domestic manufacturers, including Belmedpreparaty, Farmland, Belaseptika, Reb-Pharma, Pharmtechnologia, Borisov and Nesvizh Medical Preparations Plants, Akademifarm, Bobruisk Biotechnology Plant, and Ferein.
For example, the maximum selling price for Loratadine from the Borisov Plant in a pack of 10 tablets will be 49 kopecks. For Loperamide No. 10, it is set at 40 kopecks, and for Calcium Gluconate No. 50 — 1 ruble 15 kopecks.
The maximum price for Folic Acid 0.4 mg No. 30 will be 1 ruble 50 kopecks, and for Euphyllin 150 mg No. 30 — 77 kopecks.
