In Belarus, the annual duration of working hours will increase in 2027. This is stipulated by Resolution No. 81 of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection.

With a standard 40-hour work week, the norm will be 2050 hours for those working five days a week with weekends on Saturday and Sunday, and 2031 hours for a six-day work week with one day off.
Compared to 2026, the workload will increase by 26 hours for a five-day schedule and by 12 hours for a six-day schedule. In 2026, the respective norms were 2024 and 2019 hours.
The annual norm is calculated according to the Labor Code, taking into account the duration of the working day and a one-hour reduction in working time on pre-holiday days. These indicators are used for drawing up work schedules, accounting for worked hours, and planning the number of employees.
