«No one will take away my right to die Russian. Glory to Russia!» — Deathbed message from the son of Russian opposition leader Gudkov
It became known on October 14 that Ivan Gudkov, son of Russian opposition leader Dmitry Gudkov, committed suicide. Ksenia Sobchak, a former associate of Dmitry Gudkov, reported in her Telegram channel that Ivan left a deathbed text, stating that he could not overcome the difficulties of emigration.

«A clear understanding came to me — the only way to find happiness in emigration lies in assimilation and renouncing Russian identity for a foreign one. But there is no such path for me.
There were two greatest gifts in my life: to be born Russian and to live in Russia. And although the second was abruptly interrupted, no one will take away my right to the third — the right to die Russian. Glory to Russia!», — wrote Ivan Gudkov shortly before his death.
