Five-year-old child can be sent on a Belavia flight without adults
It turns out that a five-year-old child can fly independently on a Belavia flight without adult supervision. However, for this, it is necessary to arrange a special escort service with the airline, writes the press service of Belavia.
For children from 5 to 11 years old inclusive, such a service is mandatory if they fly without adults. For teenagers from 12 to 15 years old, it is arranged at the parents' discretion.
Airline employees meet the child at the airport, help them go through registration and all necessary pre-flight procedures, after which they escort them on board the aircraft and monitor them during the flight.
On the plane, the child receives a separate seat. Luggage is transported in accordance with the rules of the selected service class.
To arrange such transportation, it is necessary to contact a Belavia sales office, fill out special documents, pay the cost of the flight and an additional fee for the escort service.
