Residents of Andijan region have passed preliminary document verification and professional skills assessment. Now they will have to undergo an online interview with Belarusian employers, who are looking for livestock breeders, tractor drivers, drivers, and auxiliary workers.
The selection of Uzbeks to work in Belarus was reported by the Migration Agency of Uzbekistan on September 26. The issue was discussed during a meeting between the head of the agency, Mukhsinhoja Abdurakhmonov, and the Ambassador of Belarus to Uzbekistan, Alexander Ogorodnikov.
Employers in Vitebsk region stated that they need about 800 workers. So far, 204 people have been preliminarily selected from the list of candidates from Andijan region. Later, they plan to look for workers in other regions of Uzbekistan as well.
The parties also proposed considering the possibility of employers covering the travel expenses to the workplace.
