The most unsuccessful courier for phone fraudsters found: expelled from the pawnshop, card blocked, and detained by police
A 19-year-old girl from the Uzda district fell victim to phone fraudsters.
The criminals called the girl and deceived her under the guise of a mobile operator, then intimidated her with criminal liability. To get a good "recommendation," she agreed to follow the curators' instructions, reports "Minsk Police."
The girl collected money and jewelry from deceived Minsk residents three times. However, each time she faced obstacles.
In the first case, not all jewelry was accepted at the pawnshop, which prevented the courier from transferring all the money to the fraudsters. The second time, the bank froze a transaction of nine thousand rubles, deeming it suspicious. And during the last task, the girl, with the received money, was detained by officers of the capital's police.
More than 15 thousand rubles have been confiscated and will be returned to the victims of the fraudsters. Investigations are being conducted into all these facts.
