Driverless train in St. Petersburg
Driverless trains of Russian production are planned to be launched in the Minsk metro. This is reported by Blizko.by with reference to Channel One.
The "driverless trains" will be supplied by "Transmashholding" — a Russian company that owns the "Metrovagonmash" plant, whose trains have been servicing the capital's subway since its very foundation.
“Literally some time ago, we launched the first such train in St. Petersburg. The process has started, as they say,” said Kirill Lipa, CEO of Transmashholding.
The project implementation timelines and other details have not yet been announced.
