Forecaster Dmitry Ryabov told ONT about the weather in Belarus for the week of October 5 to 11. According to him, autumn will gradually take over during this period, and the comfortable weather will begin to change to more unstable.
Atmospheric fronts will pass more frequently, bringing rains and gusty winds. However, a sharp cold snap is not yet expected: the average temperature will be 1-4 degrees above the climatic norm.
On Monday, October 5, a low-activity atmospheric front will bring light short-term rains and fogs in places. At night it will be from +4 degrees in the south to +11 in the north, during the day — from +17 in the Vitebsk region to +21 degrees in the southwest and south of the country.
On Tuesday, October 6, partly cloudy weather is expected, mostly without precipitation. Light rains are possible only in the far north. At night it will be from +5 to +10 degrees, during the day — from +15 in the Vitebsk region to +20 in the Brest region.
On Wednesday, October 7, the weather will be determined by the northern periphery of an anticyclone centered over southern Europe. There will be variable cloudiness, mostly without precipitation. Light rains are possible in the Vitebsk region, with fog in places. At night the temperature will be +5…+10, during the day — from +15 in the northwest to +20 degrees in the south of the Gomel and Brest regions.
On Thursday, October 8, partly cloudy weather will persist, with no significant precipitation expected. Fog is possible. At night it will be +6…+12 degrees, during the day — from +18 in the northwest to +21 in the south.
On Friday, October 9, an atmospheric front will bring rains to the western part of the country. No precipitation is predicted for the rest of the territory. At night it will be +5…+10 degrees. During the day, temperatures will range from +10 in the west of the Grodno region to +20 degrees in the east.
On Saturday, October 10, Belarus will be under the influence of moist atmospheric fronts from Western Europe. It will be partly cloudy, with short-term rains in most areas, and fog is possible. At night it will be +5…+10 degrees, during the day — from +10 in the north to +15 in the south.
On Sunday, October 11, no significant changes are expected. The influence of atmospheric fronts and moist air masses will persist, it will be partly cloudy, with a high probability of rains and fogs. At night the temperature will be +4…+9 degrees, during the day — from +8 in the Vitebsk region to +15 degrees in the Gomel region.
