Pilots from Ukraine and Russia were indeed on the flight to Tel Aviv, but not those ones
They were flying as passengers and it was they who took the controls when the rogue pilot injured another pilot.

Two pilots — citizens (or at least natives) of Russia and Ukraine, who were flying as passengers on board a FlyDubai flight — helped land the plane in Saudi Arabia after an emergency on board, reports Israel Hayom, citing Israeli authorities.
The pilots who landed the plane were not part of the crew and were not on duty at the time of the incident, the publication notes.
Recall that initially, information emerged that a Russian and a Ukrainian had fought on this flight, but this was a fake.
