Starting tomorrow, a new way to pay for travel will appear in Minsk

Starting November 6, 2026, on two Minsk routes — bus № 1 and trolleybus № 1 — it will be possible to pay for travel using a QR code via the M-Belarusbank mobile application, reports "Minsktrans".

Passengers will be able to purchase a ticket directly from their smartphone in just a few steps. To do this, they need to find a sticker with a QR code in the transport salon, open the M-Belarusbank application, select the "Payments" section, and then "Payment by QR code". After that, they will just need to point the camera at the code and confirm the payment.

To show proof of payment to the controller, passengers will need to open the electronic ticket in the mobile application. It will be available in the "Journal" or "Recent Payments" section.
