US President Donald Trump explained his stance on North Korea's and Iran's nuclear programs through personal relationships.
Trump was asked on Tuesday why Iran is not allowed to develop nuclear weapons, while North Korea already possesses them.
“Kim Jong Un – he’s my friend. He loves Trump. I like him,” Trump said when a journalist asked him to explain this difference in approaches.
“As long as I’m here, he’ll be fine,” Trump continued. “You know why? He respects me.”
