In the first half of September, Yulia published an unexpected post on Threads. The woman said that she wanted to find a "dad for an hour" for her son. The boy himself is 10 years old. Among the requirements for the man, for example, were to love "Minecraft" and robotics. Onliner.by found out what came of it.

By the way, the list was not limited to these requirements. It was important for the mother that the man loved children and knew how to interact with boys. Ideally, he should not just know about the existence of "Minecraft" but also be able to talk about it for hours. Another plus would be a passion for engineering creativity.

How did Yulia envision such interaction? Walks and games once a week for 3-4 hours. By the way, the woman planned to pay for the help "at the average nanny market rate."

In total, the post garnered about 30,000 views and 100 comments. The reaction was very diverse. Some feared it might be dangerous, some suggested improving relationships with male relatives, and some recommended enrolling the child in a sports section.

Among those who commented on the post was a professional tutor. However, he immediately noted that his services would be expensive, as he is "a candidate of philological sciences, teaches ancient languages and classical literature."

Another boy's mom also responded: "Maybe this will be interesting: a friend, not a dad. Walks a lot – 10,000 [steps] or more. [Likes] constructors, outgrew Minecraft, more into Roblox. Watches a lot of interesting things and loves talking about various topics. 12 years old." But it turned out that the families live on different ends of the city.

Men themselves also responded. As Yulia told Onliner.by, five people wrote to her.

— There were even single fathers. They wanted to give advice. I was surprised that such people really exist. They shared several projects in Minsk. For example, they organize various events for such sons.

For now, I've settled on one person, we're talking, and they've already played with my son. I'm not leaving them alone yet. Things are not moving so fast on my side, because we were sick, or other matters prevented us from meeting.

— Overall, I expected decent people to respond, people who, naturally, have children. By the way, one of them is even married. I asked how his wife views this: he says it's absolutely normal because she's an educator.

The boy himself really liked the idea; he reacted to it positively.

Journalists clarified whether the potential "dad for an hour" really understood Minecraft so well? It turned out, not quite.

— That's understandable, mostly children play it. But overall, I don't see a problem with that point not matching, — Yulia noted.
