Former Belarusian national team goalkeeper Vasil Khamutouski, who was sentenced in 2022 to 2 years of "restricted freedom" (literally "home chemistry") under Article 342 of the Criminal Code ("Active participation in group actions that grossly violate public order"), now works within the structure of Minsk "Dinamo".

Khamutouski is a coach for the main team's farm club — "Dinamo-BSUFC", which currently plays in the first league of the Belarusian championship. Vasil coaches goalkeepers there.
Recently, he gave an interview to the sports publication betting.team, in which he compared two Belarusian goalkeepers — Fyodor Lapoukhov and Pavel Pavlyuchenko. In his opinion, the goalkeeper position is currently one of the strongest in the national team, as both goalkeepers contend for the main role.
After the 2020 elections, Vasil Khamutouski, along with other athletes, condemned the violence and left the country for a certain period. Among other things, he worked in Ukraine with another Belarusian coach, Oleg Dulub.
The former goalkeeper was detained on September 30, 2022, after he came to Belarus for treatment. Initially, he received 13 days of administrative arrest for forwarding materials from a Telegram channel recognized as extremist in Belarus, and then he was re-detained under a criminal case. His verdict was issued at the end of December.
