From September 28, the schedule and routes of trains on the Minsk — Orsha section will temporarily change . The changes will be in effect until the introduction of a new traffic schedule for 2026—2027.
The reason for this is the work on modernizing the railway infrastructure on the Kolodishchi — Gorodishche section.
On certain dates, trains No. 717/718 Moscow — Minsk — Moscow and No. 862/861 Minsk — Orsha — Minsk will be canceled. Therefore, passengers planning trips on these routes are advised to consider other options in advance.
The changes will also affect the schedule of several international trains, including No. 1 Moscow — Minsk, No. 3/7 Moscow — Brest, No. 27 Moscow — Brest, and No. 51 St. Petersburg — Brest. Adjustments will also be made to the movement of certain interregional and regional line trains.
On the Minsk — Orsha route, the schedule and route of some city line and economy class regional line trains will change. Some trains will be canceled on certain dates.
In this regard, JSC 'Minskoblautotrans' also made changes to the schedule of suburban buses, which run to replace some canceled trains.
Belarusian Railways asks passengers to take these changes into account when planning trips. The current schedule of a specific train can be checked on the BR website, in the mobile application 'BR. My Train' or by calling the contact center at 105.
