It will not open on time. The opening has been postponed by several months.

Four years have passed since the eviction of the parish of Saints Simon and Helena from the Red Church in Minsk on September 26. By the next anniversary of the church's closure, the faithful learned that the church's reconstruction will not be completed in January 2027, as planned, reports katolik.life.
The owner of the church, the state enterprise "Minsk Heritage," also promised that the main works would be completed by the end of 2026, and the building would be put into operation in January.
But now the faithful have noticed that the date on the object's passport has changed. The completion date for construction is no longer January 31, but April 30.
The current parish priest did not mention the anniversary of the church's closure in the parish announcements. But the former parish priest, Father Uladzislau Zavalniuk, did so and spoke about important details in his video.
The priest confirmed that the fire, which became the reason for the eviction of the faithful from the church, was preceded by a broken window. This and a number of other details may refute the official version of faulty wiring — the fire could have been deliberately set from outside.
By the way, the results of the investigation into the fire and the broken window have never been presented to the public.
"The faithful were forced out of the church," said the ex-parish priest.
He also recounted that the former representative of the Vatican in Belarus, Archbishop Ante Jozić, handed over a mini-power station from the nunciature to the parish. It was used when Father Uladzislau Zavalniuk and parishioners held a prayer vigil in the rectory, the priest's house next to the church. It had been disconnected from electricity, heating, and water.
But then the use of the mini-power station was prohibited, as was the "potbelly stove" later. Thus, the faithful endured two winters, and as a result, "out of obedience to the venerable Metropolitan Archbishop Yuzef [Staneuski]," the parish priest and parishioners "withdrew from the church and the rectory."
Now the priest called not to lose hope and to continue praying for the speedy completion of the reconstruction and the return of the faithful to the church.
