The public cultural and educational activities of artist Siarhei Filipau have been banned in Minsk. Now he cannot hold creative meetings and lectures in the capital, Reform.news writes .

Over the past year, Filipau curated an educational project, within which about 20 cultural events were held at six venues. Among them was the Minsk Regional Library named after Alexander Pushkin. Well-known Belarusian cultural figures and local historians participated in the meetings.
Siarhei Filipau is a Belarusian writer, artist, and cultural figure. He is the author of books and publications about the history of Minsk, urban life, and informal subcultures of the 1970s and 1980s. Filipau is also known as one of the pioneers of the advertising business in Belarus.
