"Belarus is the best country. But you need to prepare." Man cleaned his phone, but he and his family were still detained at the border
Mikhail, who has long lived in Israel, still considers Belarus the best country. But he started thinking about how to clean subscriptions more effectively.

Mikhail said on social media that he has lived in Israel for seven years, but from time to time he visits Belarus. Every time before such visits, he cleans his phone: he checks to make sure there are no subscriptions to "wrong" channels.
But the last trip did not go as planned. Mikhail, his wife, and two children were crossing the Belarusian-Lithuanian border. After checking their phones — this happened to Mikhail for the first time — the family was detained.
"I handed over my phone; it was impossible not to. The problem was not found on Telegram, Facebook, or Instagram, but on YouTube. I was subscribed to two [forbidden] channels, and my wife to one.
Handcuffs, three days in a temporary detention facility, court, fine, confiscation of phones," Mikhail summed up. He and his wife were fined 1125 rubles each; they had to buy new phones.
The man spent his time behind bars in contemplation. He realized that people like him — those who have fallen out of the internal political agenda — could find themselves in such a situation. He conceived of creating a service that would help check devices for "unreliable elements."
Mikhail was shocked that channels appear on the list of forbidden ones daily — on average, five or six. And he concluded that it is very difficult to track this personally.
The man specifically emphasized that he distances himself from politics. In Mikhail's opinion, "politics should be handled by people who are in the country. And those who have left should engage in politics in the countries to which they have moved."
In the comments, someone, obviously with irony, noted that now there was a desire to go to Belarus.
"Belarus is the best country in the world, and I'm not kidding. You just need to prepare and play by the rules," Mikhail replied.
