Minsk not planning to introduce a charge for entry to the city center
Minsk is not planning to introduce paid entry to the city center. This was stated by the Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee, Vladimir Kukharev, writes the "Minsk-Novosti" agency.

According to the official, a system of paid parking lots is actively developing in the central part of the capital. Within the first and second city rings, about 10,000 paid parking spaces have already been equipped. Their number will increase over time.
With minor exceptions, parking fees are charged on weekdays during daytime hours. This allows residents of surrounding buildings to leave their cars in these spots for free when they return from work.
Kukharev noted that people coming to the capital's center for business can choose how to get there: pay for parking or use public transport.
Earlier, the head of the Minsk City Executive Committee reported that there are over 20,000 free spaces in Minsk's parking lots and car parks.
