The A-100 gas station chain in Minsk has introduced dynamic pricing for car washes. Now the cost of the service at robotic car washes depends on the weather, the company told Office Life.

The new system analyzes the probability of rain and snow in different districts of Minsk and automatically adjusts tariffs. Therefore, the same car wash program can cost differently depending on the district and the precipitation forecast.
When the weather worsens, the algorithm lowers the cost of the wash. The company explains that this way they want to share weather-related risks with customers and offer them more favorable prices on gloomy days.
A similar principle of dynamic pricing is already used in taxi services, airlines, and hotels, where the cost of services depends on demand. However, for the Belarusian car wash market, this is a new approach.
In addition, the company has developed a new app called 'Dzyakuy' (Thank you) in Telegram. With its help, you can pay for a robotic car wash from your smartphone without leaving your car. To do this, simply select the desired wash program.
