«An Influx of Drivers Has Been Observed Since Monday». What's Happening with Other Taxi Services Amidst Yandex Failures
After Yandex temporarily restricted the connection of Belarusian drivers to its taxi service due to a technical failure, other services in Belarus began receiving more applications for cooperation. Office Life found out how the situation affected the market.

In professional taxi driver chats, it is reported that a queue has formed at WB Taxi for reviewing applications. According to these reports, the company connects approximately five new partners per day and is still reviewing applications submitted in the summer. The company itself declined to comment on the situation around Yandex Taxi, stating that speculation on this topic is inappropriate.
Service 7788 confirmed that an influx of drivers has been observed since Monday, October 12. According to company representatives, the number of applications increased by 30-40% compared to the usual level. Drivers are constantly calling and writing in messengers.
First, the service concludes an agreement with the driver, after which they must be included in the corresponding register. The entire process takes no more than one or two days. There are no restrictions on cooperation: drivers who also work with other platforms can join the service.
Ekaterina Cheratun, director of Taxi 135, also reported a significant influx of new partners. Among those willing to cooperate are both individual entrepreneurs and large carriers. To process applications faster, the company's specialists switched to an intensified work mode and extended their working hours.
According to Cheratun, demand for services arose not only in Minsk, so the company decided to expand the operation of Taxi 135 throughout the country. The service claims that its proprietary software is not inferior to Yandex's, neither for passengers nor for drivers, and its capabilities have been tested on millions of completed orders.
A1 Taxi also reported that it continues to increase the number of partners and invites carriers, fleet owners, and entrepreneurs involved in passenger transportation to cooperate. The company is looking for partners not only in Minsk but also in other regions of Belarus. According to its representatives, agreements are currently being concluded very actively. A1 Taxi has also launched an advertising campaign in which it positions itself as a reliable Belarusian service.
