Chairman of "Bellesbumprom" concern revealed whether the lifting of US sanctions helped the enterprise
Belarusian woodworking enterprises increased product exports in the first nine months of 2026 compared to the same period last year. This was reported by Alexander Pshonny, Chairman of the "Bellesbumprom" concern, during a visit to the "Gomel Wallpaper" branch.

According to the official, one of the main tasks of the industry remains to increase the industrial production index, which has not yet reached 100%. At the same time, the export indicator grew to 109% of last year's level.
Despite Western restrictions, enterprises continue to increase supplies, primarily to countries that the Belarusian authorities call friendly. The top five main export markets include Russia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and China.
Pshonny noted that the industry expects a further increase in exports, although problems with logistics and making payments persist.
In September, the US Treasury Department officially lifted sanctions from the "Lakokraska" enterprise and the "Bellesbumprom" concern.
According to the head of the concern, this did not open up all opportunities for expanding export supplies, but it should facilitate payments in US dollars. He expressed hope that after the lifting of restrictions, settlements would proceed better, which would positively affect the development of exports.
