Apartments with Equipment for Fraudulent Call Centers Discovered in Three Regional Centers
During the searches, over 30 units of equipment and more than 20,000 SIM cards were confiscated.

The activities of several technical communication nodes in Belarus, which could be used by foreign fraudulent call centers for mass calls and SMS distribution, have been stopped, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs press service.
Since 2024, three men aged 19 to 30 in the Minsk, Mogilev, and Gomel regions have equipped their apartments with technical centers for remote control of thousands of SIM cards.
Through these, fraudulent call centers could mass call citizens with the aim of stealing money.

The men received SIM banks, GSM gateways, radio modules, antennas, and processors from curators via a delivery service. After connecting the equipment, they ensured its uninterrupted operation.
"In addition, the specified criminal infrastructure was used for actions that pose a direct threat to national security and stability in our country and the Union State," the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports.
During the searches, over 30 units of equipment and more than 20,000 SIM cards were confiscated.
It is known that 40 GSM devices and more than 17,000 SIM cards, as well as mobile phones with correspondence with curators, were found.

The suspects stated that they agreed to job offers received from unknown persons via Telegram.
All three had no prior criminal record and were not officially employed; one of them was a student.
