AFU successfully struck Afipsky Oil Refinery in Krasnodar Krai

On the night of August 25, 2026, the Defense Forces of Ukraine launched new strikes on facilities of the Russian oil and gas industry, the General Staff of the AFU reported.

According to the AFU General Staff, Ukrainians managed to hit the Afipsky oil refinery in Krasnodar Krai. The destruction of two gas separation units at the Astrakhan gas processing plant was also reported.

Earlier, the governor of Krasnodar Krai also reported damage to the Afipsky oil refinery. A fire at the enterprise's territory after the attack was also reported.

In addition, the Ukrainian General Staff stated that as a result of the strike on August 24, a Russian MiG-29 fighter jet was damaged at the "Millerovo" military airfield in Rostov Oblast. The extent of the damage is still being clarified.
