Representatives of the tour operator said that indeed "yesterday the company's security service recorded unauthorized activity in relation to certain web resources."
In the near future, access to working services, including the tour selection system and personal accounts, will be restored for our partners.
Commercial director of the tour operator Vaskan Arzumanyan assured that no signs of data leakage from these tourists and partners have been detected.
Yesterday, information appeared that the Tez Tour website had been hacked. Hackers claimed to have downloaded the entire travel history of Belarusians
Upon visiting teztour.by, a black screen was visible with a message that the company ceased to exist as of September 15.
It was claimed that all servers were compromised. And hackers from the DATASUCKERS group downloaded and destroyed: 45 million booking records, 52 million hotel bookings, 252 million financial transactions. In total, 395.5 million records were lost, as claimed by the hackers.
Hackers addressed Tez Tour clients and company administrators:
«Dear clients! Your passports, foreign passports, bank card data, phone numbers, addresses, etc. — are in our hands, and the company has no access to them. Everything has been deleted. Company administrators, you don't have to worry — it's impossible to restore the data: all your servers are completely seized by us, disks are overwritten to exclude the possibility of recovery, and backups are deleted. It will take you several days just to get inside and figure things out, given your incompetence, let alone recovery. As they say... TEZ TOUR — THAT'S IT. The company is closed. Clients go f*** yourselves*."
