The story about Iryna from Slutsk, who was brought to justice for bringing items to containers, provoked an emotional reaction.
Iryna from Slutsk brought two bags of worn, no longer needed but still good clothes and a roll of linoleum to the garbage bins, hoping that the items would be useful to others. However, this act was caught by a surveillance camera: the woman was summoned to the housing office (ZhES) and a protocol was drawn up for leaving bulky waste where it shouldn't be. Now she faces a fine of up to 1350 rubles.
Iryna shared her story on the YouTube channel "Slutsk TV", after which the authors of the TikTok account "Belarusfacts" took notice. While the original video gained a modest 1.5 thousand views in 12 days, the TikTok video was watched more than 3.4 million times in a day, accumulating almost 4300 comments.
The absolute leader in responses (more than 86 thousand likes) was an ironic remark:
