Belarusian showman Vadim Galygin feels like a fish in water in Russia. He now hosts major projects on Russian television, stars in a series with an ambiguous title, and plans to honor the memory of Russian occupiers.
In early August, filming began in Russia for a new series "Kladzyom na sumlenne!" (We lay it on conscience!) for the TNT channel. This is a story about young men Sasha and Vadik, who travel to the Russian backwoods to undergo practical training in road surfacing. There, they encounter a harsh male collective — it seems the plot will be built precisely on the interaction between these recent students and that collective.
And in October, an animated film will be released in which Galygin lent his voice to one of the characters — "The Adventures of a Mammoth Calf. In Search of Mom." This is a reinterpretation of the famous Soviet tale about a mammoth calf, but it looks like the film will be quite different in character.
The showman often hosts programs on Russian channels but also visits Belarus. For example, he was in Minsk in mid-July 2026, when Aryna Sabalenka came there for the opening of new tennis courts. Galygin attended that opening and posted photos with former tennis player Max Mirnyi and former footballer Dmitry Baga.
Vadim does not forget about charity — though, in his case, it is partly directed towards Russian servicemen. He is the vice-president of the international society "Fishermen U Hunters". On May 19, 2026, this society organized a concert by Alexander Rosenbaum, a resident of this society and a supporter of the war in Ukraine, who is under personal Ukrainian sanctions. The concert brought together 1800 teenagers, including Suvorov cadets and children of Russian servicemen who are waging an aggressive war in Ukraine.
As for his personal life, a few months ago Vadim's third son was born, and the baby was named Luka. Galygin also has an adult daughter, Taisiya, who gave him a grandson in 2025.
