«How much did you get paid for the ad?» Young Man with Model Looks Makes Top TikToks from His Job at a Lift Factory

21-year-old Raman Kanaplianik has been working at "Mogilevliftmash" for a month, and in that time he has transformed into a real TikTok star. The young engineer captivates with stories about his factory — his impressions are quite different from what you'd expect from such places.

Raman got to the Mogilev factory through job placement. His specialty is an electronics engineer: the guy has to control the operation of machines, program them, and repair electronic devices.

Even before this job, Raman recorded Reels on Instagram, but they usually gained no more than a few thousand views. However, the videos about the factory that the guy is now making have brought him real popularity.

A video where Raman outlines the pros of working at his factory received almost 570 thousand views in 11 days, not to mention hundreds of thousands of views on TikTok:

«I'm working hard at the "Mogilevliftmash" factory. And yes, we have a very convenient schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. I come home in the evening, and I still have plenty of time. I'm working hard at the "Mogilevliftmash" factory, but, guys, we have free insurance with which you can sign up for doctors. I even signed up for an MRI, which costs a fortune.

I work at the "Mogilevliftmash" factory, and they feed us well. Literally, a portion like this costs only 5 rubles, but everything is extremely delicious. I work at the "Mogilevliftmash" factory, and guess what, guys, there's a free bathhouse here».

In his Instagram profile, Raman describes himself as a model. The guy understands that his model appearance doesn't quite align with the image of a factory worker, and he recorded a separate Reel on this topic. This contrast impresses some commentators so much that they don't believe the guy actually works at the factory:

«Why mislead people? You've never worked at a factory before».

«Is this Mogilevliftmash now with you in the same bathhouse?»

«How much did you get paid for the ad?»

But Raman really works at the factory — just days ago, he showed "Mogilevliftmash" to correspondents of a state channel. And at the same time, he talked about what he does in his first month of work besides training and the bathhouse:

«My supervisor and I constantly go to the workshop; he always shows and tells me something. Honestly, you won't get bored here. I remember the Soviet mentality about factories, about how working here is a stigma. But that's actually not the case at all.

When you come here, you have opportunities for growth; you can truly learn something new, they can show and tell you everything».

People who have worked at the factory for much longer than a month also commented on the guy's posts. They warn that over time, Raman's impressions of the factory might change:

«Work a year or more, then you'll understand. I thought the same when I started working».

«Tell us about the salaries and their growth over the past five years».

«I worked in three shifts, and the first shift was also from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. But I couldn't go to sleep at 10:00 PM, and I had to wake up at 5 AM. Guess who slept 6 hours a day for a year and destroyed their circadian rhythms?»
