At a rally in Vilnius, political prisoner Dzyadzyulya came with noodles in her hands to give them to Kuchynski. But she didn't deliver

A new performance by activists who are fighting against Tsikhanouskaya's Office abroad but solidarizing with Dzmitry Skindzerau — a character who was recognized as a threat to Lithuania's national security, including for cooperation with GUBaziK.

During the event marking the sixth anniversary of the popular uprising on August 9 in Vilnius, an incident occurred: former political prisoner Alena Dzyadzyulya tried to hand a plate of noodles to Dzianis Kuchynski, director of Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya's Office in Lithuania.

The incident took place in Cathedral Square, where more than a hundred participants gathered to commemorate the events of August 2020, support Belarusian political prisoners, and reiterate the demand for free elections.

A large white-red-white flag was unfurled in the square, and a gallery with portraits of political prisoners was displayed. After the rally, the column moved through the center of Vilnius to the Belarusian embassy.

The event was organized by Natallia Kalegava's organization "Dapamoha".

"I thought she might throw something in his face"

Dzianis Kuchynski spoke from the stage, thanking Belarusians for continuing to participate in solidarity actions:

"What we thought in 2020 would be a sprint turned out to be a marathon. I will never say it will be easy. It's a lot of work, it's sweat and tears. But we must remember our political prisoners, heroes, and the people who quietly continue the struggle inside Belarus without microphones and stages."

During his speech, Alena Dzyadzyulya approached him. Natallia Kalegava, head of "Dapamoha", was next to Kuchynski at that moment. She stopped the woman.

"When I saw her coming to the stage, I thought she might throw something in Dzianis's face. So I stopped her. Alena pulled out a plate of noodles and tried to hand it to Dzianis, saying: 'I'm returning your noodles to you.' I threw away the noodles and cleared the plate," Natallia Kalegava told "Nasha Niva".

According to her, those present barely reacted to what happened.

We reached out to Alena Dzyadzyulya for comment to explain the meaning of her action. At the time of publication, Dzyadzyulya had not responded to our questions.

The noodles remained lying in the square

Who is Alena Dzyadzyulya

Alena Dzyadzyulya is a former Belarusian political prisoner who now lives in Lithuania and is part of the RE:BELarus community of former political prisoners.

In September 2021, Dzyadzyulya was detained along with other participants in the so-called "bales case." A group of Belarusians was accused of painting protest slogans on more than 80 bales of silage in a field near the M1 highway near Dzyarzhynsk.

Dzyadzyulya was found guilty of malicious hooliganism and sentenced to one year in a penal colony. She fully served her sentence and was released on May 10, 2022.

Before her detention, Dzyadzyulya was a foster mother: together with her biological children, she raised two girls taken into the family.

In Lithuania, Dzyadzyulya became one of the active participants in the RE:BELarus community. She participated in remembrance and solidarity actions and helped Belarusians in the migration camp in Padbroddzie.

What is RE:BELarus

RE:BELarus positions itself as an association of Belarusian political prisoners in Lithuania. Its representatives organized rallies in Vilnius to support Mikalai Statkevich and other political prisoners, and honored the memory of Vitold Ashurak and Raman Bandarenka.

This is not the first public action by RE:BELarus representatives against people from Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya's team. In February 2026, during a rally in Vilnius in memory of Belarusian volunteers who died in Ukraine, several former political prisoners demonstratively turned their backs on Tsikhanouskaya's adviser Anatol Liabedzka. They held placards saying "Enough empty words," "How does the Office help political prisoners in Belarus?" and "What did the Office help with?".

At the same time, recently, individual representatives of RE:BELarus have publicly supported the speeches of Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya's militant critic Dzmitry Skindzerau. In particular, Alena Dzyadzyulya disseminated information about his press conference on her page.

It was Skindzerau who previously staged provocations against Dzianis Kuchynski and declared war on Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya.

Attacks on Dzianis Kuchynski

Thus, in January 2026, Dzmitry Skindzerau approached Dzianis Kuchynski in a Vilnius cafe, began filming him on his phone, insulting him and threatening physical violence.

"When are we going home? How much money have you laundered? What's your share? I'm going to punch you now," he shouted.

The recording was quickly disseminated by Belarusian state media and propaganda Telegram channels. After this, Skindzerau began regularly publishing videos attacking Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya and her team. Among other things, he called on his supporters to put pressure on Office representatives, including "splashing them from a glass."

In April, "Nasha Niva" published a major investigation into Skindzerau. We told about his criminal conviction for extortion, numerous failed and debt-burdened business projects, and his earlier voluntary cooperation with GUBaziK.

In June, Skindzerau announced that he had received a notice from the Lithuanian Migration Department about its intention to deprive him of his refugee status. The reason was information from Lithuanian services giving grounds to consider him a threat to national security. There is currently no information on the final decision of the Lithuanian authorities regarding this story.
