Wounded Belarusian volunteer «Lakhvich» — the one recently harassed by Batulin
Aliaksandr «Lakhvich» Navkovich was wounded a couple of days ago while leaving a combat mission.
«Greetings, everyone. We did a great job. My first combat experience in the new unit I was seconded to. But the hardest part is getting in and out… Something went wrong with the exit. It threw my thick self out of the pickup window, I barely remember anything… But I don't doubt for a second that I made the right choice and I am in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). Doctors will quickly put me back on my feet, and we will fight again! Details over time. Hugged everyone,» he wrote on his Instagram.
Judging by the photo, his back is seriously wounded. «12 screws,» the volunteer described the operation.
«On the first day, the doctors were surprised: how do you feel your legs with such wounds?» — writes «Lakhvich».
And he adds that on the third day he was able to get up. «I can stand for seconds, but sitting is not allowed».
A few weeks ago, Aliaksandr «Lakhvich» Navkovich recorded a kind of «repentant» video with a shaved beard. Later, «Lakhvich» admitted that this was done under duress from former comrades-in-arms led by Radzivon «Hena» Batulin — the former commander of the «Terror» battalion.
The video's appearance was preceded by a conflict: Lakhvich published a video in which he criticized Batulin. The essence of that criticism was that «if others are fighting, and you go to Odesa to seize volunteer aid from civilians — that is not noble.» Batulin's connection with ultra-right circles is known. Even before the full-scale war, he was close to Siarhei «Botsman» Karotkikh. In interviews and speeches, Batulin often uses lexicon about the «new gentry», nationalism, the elitism of warriors, and a special code of honor.
