In Kobryn, a drunken woman initiated a police pursuit and a collision, the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced their version of the Kobryn road accident. There, one police car overturned, the second — crashed into a pole.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, around 00:15, the district police department received a report that an intoxicated driver was driving on Dzerzhinsky Street, posing a threat.
The car was found, but it did not stop — a pursuit began with activated flashing lights, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
«During the apprehension of the violator at the intersection of Nikolaeva and Dzerzhinsky streets, an official vehicle collision occurred», — the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced.
Behind the wheel was found a 52-year-old resident of the Kobryn district. A test showed 0.8 per mille.
Police officers were taken to the hospital. No video of the pursuit was published.
