Leader of a famous Russian rock group came to Ukraine and repented for concerts in occupied Crimea
Maksim Pokrovsky confessed his love for Ukrainians and wished for a speedy victory.

Maksim Pokrovsky, the soloist of the famous Russian band "Nogu Svelo!", came to Ukraine. He visited Kyiv, Kharkiv Oblast, and Donbas. In his social media, the musician shared that he is filming a documentary about the war.
"I came to your land with love, warmth, and immense respect. The main thing I can do to be useful to you while here is to ensure that as many people as possible around the world learn about what I've witnessed with my own eyes. We are filming a documentary "I’m Here to Witness". And we are also recording an English version of one of our most popular songs, "Nashi yuniye smeshniye golosa" (Our Young Funny Voices)," Pokrovsky noted in the video.
The musician added that he loves Ukrainians: "I love you! Glory to Ukraine! A speedy victory, dears!"
Later, Maksim Pokrovsky published another video address in which he repented for his concerts in Crimea after the occupation of the peninsula.
"Some people ask what I have done for Ukraine, apart from talking, and what I did in occupied Crimea in 2015-2016. I spoke in detail about Crimea in Ukrainian media back at the beginning of the full-scale invasion. At that time, I was going through a difficult period in my life and was completely detached from the events happening around me. I deeply regret it. But a time machine has not yet been invented, and the past cannot be changed," he noted. He also listed all his actions in support of Ukraine.
In 2020, Maksim Pokrovsky supported the protests in Belarus, and two years later, he spoke out against the Russian invasion of Ukraine. In Russia, he is listed as a "foreign agent."
