Scooter ride cost Minsk resident $16,000 — that's how much will have to be spent on teeth
The girl flew over the handlebars of the electric scooter and hit the corner of the terrace with her teeth.

An unpleasant incident with Iryna Vainitskaya occurred back in June 2024. She was strolling with friends in the center of Minsk. When she decided to go home, she took a scooter.
“I was in the very center of the city, on Internatsionalnaya Street, where there is an additional speed limit, and then I bounced on a pothole, a bump, lost control, and there was a terrace,” she recounted on ONT about the fall.
The girl flew over the handlebars of the electric scooter and hit the corner of the terrace with her teeth. Her entire front row of teeth was affected, plus two teeth fell out. The subsequent operation lasted seven hours.
“The teeth came out and were pushed back in, and a metal splint was applied for fixation. I lost one tooth that very night, with no possibility of getting it back, and another tooth I lost a month later, because, despite the splint, despite all efforts, unfortunately, it did not take.”

Iryna has already spent six thousand dollars on her teeth, and, according to her calculations, another ten thousand will be needed.
The girl herself managed to take the situation with humor and maintains a blog about her recovery.
