A Russian drone fell and exploded in Moldova. Moldova recalled its ambassador
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Moldova condemned the incident in the village of Crocmaz, Ștefan Vodă district, where a drone fell and exploded.

The Moldovan Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the incident is a gross violation of the country's sovereignty and territorial integrity, and also poses a threat to the lives of citizens.
In connection with the incident, Moldova is recalling its ambassador to Russia from Moscow for consultations.
The Moldovan agency also emphasized that the country condemns Russia's war against Ukraine and its negative consequences for security in the region.
A powerful explosion near Crocmaz became known on the afternoon of August 9. Later, the authorities of the Ștefan Vodă district published photos of an object resembling a drone, which fell on the outskirts of the village.
On August 10, the police reported that a combat drone had exploded in southern Moldova near Crocmaz. According to Moldovan law enforcement officials, a device of this type was recorded on the country's territory for the first time.
It was established that the drone collided with a tree and exploded at a height of about 2.5 meters. As a result of the explosion, its fragments scattered over a significant distance and damaged the roofs and outbuildings of several residential houses.
It was previously reported that no one was killed or injured as a result of the incident. Moldovan specialists continue to ascertain the exact type and origin of the drone.
