The Economic Court of Vitebsk Region declared the Polotsk Dairy Plant bankrupt and decided to initiate its liquidation procedure.
Shortly before this, the production assets of the enterprise were transferred to the management of "Savushkin Produkt" company. It received production buildings, equipment, and the workforce, which are planned to be used for modernization and restoration of the former large-scale dairy production. The debts of the plant itself, however, are expected to remain with the state.
The bankruptcy case was initiated in May. During this time, creditors' claims were received and considered.
According to the report of the anti-crisis manager, the total amount of creditors' claims amounted to almost 400 million rubles, while the value of the enterprise's property is estimated at approximately 230 million rubles.
